From the Founder

The V-fest SexTech Talk panel featured speakers (left to right) Jenna Owsianik and Lily Frank who attended virtually, alongside Chloé De Bie and Deborah Seymus who appeared on stage.

It was a treat for me to participate virtually at Belgium’s V-fest sexuality festival last March in its first English-language SexTech panel.

Fellow speakers and I discussed sex robots, femtech, augmented reality, and more topics related to how technology is shaping human sexuality.

Philosopher Dr. Lily Frank gave the winning quote of the evening, which was met with giggles from the crowd:

“It’s very possible we will have technologies where we can see someone different from our own partner when we’re having sex with them. Maybe I get to see 1998 Leonardo DiCaprio instead of my husband, or whoever your flavour is.”
